Exactly the same a yours. "Normals" tend to be attracted to groupthink and ordinariness; safety and conformity. Anything resembling uniqueness or individuality seems to cause them anxiety. Creativity is seldom among their qualities.

The "artist" type lives for spontaneity and creativity, To lead the life of "quiet desperation" is not in their vocabulary. Seeking safety and comfort has no appeal. It's more a case of express or die :)) Needless to say the percentage of artists is far less than that of "clones" in the general population.

Many of the creative younger folks are most likely "indigos". They are very fortunate, but must guard themselves against the repressive and malignant nature of main stream society and its "guardians".

Yes in many ways, I do not feel missunderstood rather people do not take the time to figuer things out and just nod their head and smile.

I am taking a art class this year and I feel more conected to most of the people I just met in septeber than I feel conected to even my own family.

I`ve never really thought about it that way before, but I do have trouble getting some to understand. I`m very artistic but I`ve always looked upon myself as an indavidual, but now you mention it.........

This is so true. i get along really well with all my artist friends. they seem to be more honest and curious about life. my "normal" friends are always worrying about silly shallow things like their hair and make-up. in all the years i've known them i have not been able to have a deep meaningful conversation with them. meanwhile with the artists/designers i can delve into conceptual discussions. i think its just that we have more in common.

in the end i feel misunderstood by my normal friends. and i have to be patient with them and them with me.
