Why do watch advertisements depict analog watches set at 10:10?

Question:This happens for a lot of brands and a lot of advertisements and it really puzzles me. Does this placement form an angle that makes the watches look better or what?

Funny I've always wondered that too! I think it looks nice... like the faces are smiling at us! maybe thats why??
