Photography is about taking pictures, but also about using the pictures you already have. I've made new stuff in my photog journal by enlarging different segments of different pics. You'd be surprised by the things you can spot in corners of your pics or just by enlarging a particular element in the picture. You don't have to go anywhere, unless you want to. Use what you've got, and really take your pics seriously. You'll see through to the inner depths of your pics and yourself.

can't find ANYTHING?!? the thing about being a photographer is not what your take a picture of, its how well the picture is taken. do a close up of an ordinary object or use cross process film outdoors. try going to a city you've never beenso that everything is new, you'll be suprised how many photo ops you'll get. to me, one of the biggest thing is composition. good luck!
Look at Life, what is your passion, where do you find beauty, people, seasons, breathtaking views, animals- Go to national geographic and see what they find interesting. What kind of photographer do you want to be? What kind of job do you want?
go outside your castle and just klik!
part of any art is being the first one to do it. Jackson Pollack was the first to do splatter paintings,Andy Warhol the first to do giant soup cans, Georgia O'Keefe the first to do really big flowers.

Look around you for things that you haven't seen in photographs before. Or consider a different angle to the stereotypical.

You'll be on your way
