Question: I just finished "Watchers" by Dean Koontz!. Did anybody else think it was awful!?
I'm just asking, because a very close friend of mine thinks it's the most amazing book ever written!.

I found myself bored, and having to drag myself though it!. And a lot of it just seemed ridiculous!.

I'd never read a Koontz book before, and I'm not really planning on reading another!.

Am I missing something brilliant!?
What are your opinions on it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I actually enjoyed it although to be fair I am talking about reading it in the early 90's, it's been a while since I re-read it but overall I think it is actually one of his better ones, Lightning was really good also, I think because they were written in the late 80's early 90's there is a strong near future technology aspect which I always enjoyed!. If you think the book is bad all I can say is do not watch the Film that was made starring Cory Haim!. The film makes the book look like a masterpiece!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I doubt you are missing much!. All of his his books that I have read are very formulaic!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'd rather choose Stephen King any time of the day!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
