Why is there white, bright spots in my pictures?

Question: Why is there white, bright spots in my pictures!?

I noticed that in the pictures I took (with my digital camera) at a childrens gym have a large amount ( like 5-15 per picture) of white, bright small circle-shaped spots in them!. also in few pictures taken in my sister in laws house you can see these spots( only like one or two per picture)!. I was wondering what are they!. My s-i-l says they are spirits but I'm pretty sure there is a better explanations to them!. I have never noticed anything like that beforeWww@QuestionHome@Com

Likely it's dust magnified by the flash!. It could also be reflective ghosting (not ghosts, ghosting is a light reflection happening within the lens when a direct light source is shining on it)!.

Can we see and example!? That would really narrow it down very quickly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Look at the front of your lens!. Does it have dog snot and kids finger prints all over it!.!.!? More than likely it's as dirty as the back seat of a school bus!.

Look at the pics!. Are they all in the same place or different!. If different then it's most likely floating dust being exposed by your flash going off!.

People call these things "Orbs"!. They also call them spirits, which is bull!. They aren't ghosts!. They aren't energy!. They are dust and other small particles which have caught light!.
There's nothing I can say that can outdo the wikipedia link I've supplied!.

It's your flash reflecting off of dust in the air!. You can call the circles "orbs"!. They aren't spirits, though!. Just reflections!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
