Shakespearean plays, due to their large number of localities (and very short transitions) are often performed on a unit set!. Drops, wagons, or props can be brought on to change the look, or the set can be designed with different "playing areas!." The lighting designer can go a long way in creating many different looks for one set!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
