Question: I want to become a famous singer or actor and need advice!?
i'm 16 and i've got my entire life ahead of me
i know i'm not going to be very good in other careers and my parents don't want me to follow my dreams but for this i'm going to say **** them
i've started writing two books which i will hopefully finish before july =]
but ok now the real thing, i want to be a famous singer or actor and am asking for your help in my predicament because i really think this is my calling and i'd love to be an actor preferably, but a singer is very very cool as well =]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hate to break it to you, but virtually everyone your age wants to be famous!. And virtually none of them will become famous, since only Zsa Zsa Gabor and Paris Hilton have made fame a viable career choice!.
If you want to be an actor, get involved with your local theater and learn the craft!. Take classes, since many theaters offer classes!. Volunteer with the theater and learn about staging a production!. The vast majority of actors started in theater and still fit it into their schedules, since it's the best learning experience available!. Becoming a good actor takes talent and even with talent you can expect to invest years in the mastery of your craft!. Plus, you'll need a day job to support yourself, so your parents aren't wrong in wanting you to have a solid backup plan!. The competition for roles is intense and the people who succeed are the ones who are dedicated to the craft, not the ones who want everyone to recognize them as special because they're famous!. People who achieve fame without the talent to back it up are soon tossed onto the trash heap and forgotten!. So go to your local theater, take some classes, and see if you have talent!. And if you do, see if you have the dedication it takes to become a really good actor!.
As for being a singer, you should learn to play an instrument and try writing songs!. Most bands I've known wouldn't even consider taking on a self-proclaimed singer who just wants to be the center of attention!. If someone hasn't shown he's serious about music, he's not even granted an audition!. Trust me -- I've delivered the bad news to many, many singers who thought they'd use my band as their vehicle to stardom!.
If being an actor or singer is your calling and you haven't actually taken steps toward mastering them yet, you're way behind people who are serious about those things!. It's not too late to test the waters, but unless you actually want to be really good at either, rather than a star, you're probably wasting your time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Whatever you can't just want to be famous and you are underage so you have to wait till ur 18 to actully do something with out your parents consent!.
