If you're talking about an open call for auditions, then no, you don't need to be there the whole time!. Once you've finished your audition, unless the director or other people doing the casting want something more from you (in which case they'd tell you), you should be allowed to leave!.

5 sounds like a fine time!. It's just not generally a good idea to show up in the very last hour, because if there's a lot of people waiting to audition, then they'll be in line ahead of you, and if the judges have seen enough by eight o'clock, they could shut the audtitions down, whether you've gotten your turn yet or not!. also by that time the judges themselves are tired, and ususally won't be the most responsive to your efforts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
