Position:Home>Theater & Acting> $100 "Web Fee" for Talent Agency?

Question: $100 "Web Fee" for Talent Agency!?
I recently found out that my agent wants a web fee of $100 allegedly for putting my profile on their web site!. Does anyone else have this with their talent agent!? I kind of want to cry foul because of the old equation, they don't get paid unless I get paid thing!. Any thoughts!? Thanks! By the way, this agency is franchised with AFTRA!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

some agencies are doing this!. it should be voluntary!. I don't get the idea behind the web posting of talent!. How would you get to an audition out of state!? Why would they bother with actors from out of state!? Some agent that does this is gonna have to show me that this works!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Seems kind of grimy!.!.!. have you researched the companies reputation on the internet!? check the BBB or something cause why would they charge you ( their client ) 100 dollars to do something that would take one of their webmasters about 5 minutes to do!.!.!.!.!.I'd look into itWww@QuestionHome@Com

Run!. Don't pay fees!. Ever!. Good agencies get their money by getting YOU work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
