Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: it's definitely not a poem!. it can be considered a monologue, but i think a "tale" or an early form of a short story would be more accurate!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The Tell-Tale Heart, is first, not a poem!. It's a short story!. It can be adapted and read aloud as a monologue, and has been, usually by actors doing a "One-Man Poe" presentation!. However, it is NOT a play, and using it as a monologue in a competition which asks specifically for a monologue from a play will not likely be an acceptable choice!. I'd keep searching!.Www@QuestionHome@Com A poem most defiantly!. The Tell-Tale Heart was written by Edgar Allen Poe, and it's not from a play!. Good Luck at the Competition!. : )Www@QuestionHome@Com i think its considered a poemWww@QuestionHome@Com poemWww@QuestionHome@Com |
