A4 envelope - what stamps? (UK people only please)?

Question: A4 envelope - what stamps!? (UK people only please)!?

I have a pack of 12 normal 1st class stamps and cant afford to get any more - i know you normally need a 'large' 1st class stamp because its A4 size, but will it be ok if i put like 2 or 3 normal sized stamps on it!? it is so important that it gets there as its an application for an audition being cast soon!

does it *HAVE* to be the new 'large' stamps!?!?

normal 1st glass stamps are the same arnt they!?

take it too the post office and get it weighed and then put on the right amount of stamps that you have xx
