Question: Is what we see poetic, no matter the image!?
Walking on obscure ground
now
wow, weird,
deep, obscurity!.
Specifics, now!. Pictures
of where I am!. An arc
of light hitting the front
windshield of a rusted white van!.
An insignificant man, leaning
into a shovel!. He is obscure
on his feet!. He sees me
and he is a picture now
wow, deep,
deep picture of a man
and his shovel and
his van!.
The mailman honks!. He delivers!.
I freeze him, too,
the least obscure of the three!.
I include myself now
and suddenly,
and feel heavy on the steps!.
Pictures, all!.
Deep and wow!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"and suddenly, 'I' (!?) feel heavy on the steps!." Or did you mean "and"!?
Obscurity can either mean the unknown (hard to understand) or the lack of light (darkness)!. Until the image is freeze framed in the mind's eye!.!.!.one cannot bring understanding nor light to it!. And with both, comes weight (heaviness)!. Then we write, to lighten the burden of the image!.
Well!.!.!.!.so that's how this work hit me and I absolutely loved where you took my mind as I tried to grasp it!.

Yes, of course!.
Like the painter or the photographer, the writer 'sees' in images, thinks in images, comparing words, rejecting, substituting 'wrong' ones for better ones!.
That is a gift, to be able to speak in imagery!.
You have such a gift!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Now picture me
I sit at my computer
hands poised fingers
dancing on keyboard
half dressed
REALLY messy hair
and gazing
at the screen
reading your words
Eyes get to last line
mouth drops open
and my stare
is frozen
in space!.
