In my head all day
As I trample the sound
Around paper and screen
Only to taper
The meaning into one
Single thought
Caught in dismay
With meaning at bay
Is the sound of words
Holding, molding
Ideas I wish to convey
When all I can think
All I can say
For the words to be free
Is, It’s still rock and roll to me
The ideas have all been written
The meanings leaning
Toward nature, love, hate
What else awaits
Our eyes to behold
On the pages
Of new stories already told
