Question: Do we have any right to make judgements of others unless we have somehow become perfect!?
I see a lot of wrongful judgments recently, from people of all cultures!.

As a Muslim I believe only Allah can judge someone but even if the person is not Muslim, they cannot judge each other because we are not perfect and they can be mistaken and often judge for their own deluded self appreciation!.

To truly live harmoniously do we need to eliminate our prejudgemental natureas humans!? Because if not prejudices will continue to form!

What do you think!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

First off, I respect you immensely for being so open with your religion in this time of fear and prejudice!. To answer your question, yes, it would be a perfect world if we all stopped judging each other and ourselves!. But unfortunately, humans cannot, and will never, be able to come together as a whole and do that!. From a scientists view, our brains are wired in such a way that makes us seek individuality!. The way our neurons are connected is supposed to be in such a way that is completely original, like a fingerprint, except there are thousands of them!. What this leads to in everyday life if is doing something that no one else does, or a "Personality Quirk"!. In the long run, its kind of a bad thing, because if we did have this perfect society that you propose, it would be eventually destroyed by someone whose brain is telling them that it is wrong!. From a Philosophers view, it is human nature to rebel against that which is perfect!. To use what I hope is an accurate example from Islamic belief's about the Garden Of Eden, Adam and Eve are in a paradise where they are tempted to eat the forbidden fruit by Iblis!. In modern day, I think Iblis is shown to us through hatred, intolerance, and ignorance!. We cannot defeat these things, because we are human, and therefore susceptible to suggestion!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Rights are one thing !.!.!. all I can comment on is whether I think our judgments of others are fair or useful!.

Always when we judge others our judgment is relative to who we are and our own experience, far more than it is relative to the person being judged!.

Christianity says "judge not lest ye be judged" and "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" - a lot like what you are saying!.

Psychology says that the judgments we make of others are really judgments about ourselves - also like what you're saying!.

I don't think we can "eliminate our judgmental nature" -- if we eliminated our nature, we wouldn't exist!. We have to make judgments and judging others can help us discover what's important to us, and teach each other values too!. Any and all teachings that discourage prejudice are valuable if we want to live in a humane civilization, though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

What makes a judgement wrongful!?

We all must make judgements every day- whether choosing this doctor or another, whether or not to trust a person with your money, or to care for your children!. Making judgements is something necessary for humans to survive in the world- the real question is which types are unwarranted!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's not good to be too judgmental, but there have to be some moral standards in any society!. If you don't judge anybody, and excuse
everybody for their actions, there are those who will take total advantage
for their own selfish reasons!. There comes a point when we have to judge!. The hard part is knowing when to judge, and when to accept!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

quite right!.!.!. you're bloody well right!.!.!. you've got a right to say!.!.!.

of course we have to make judgments of others!.!.!. would be absolutely silly to forgo that human nature!.!.!. for what!.!.!. what they tell us!.!.!. bah humbug!.!.!. sounds like a method of mind control to us!.!.!.

people can change but we can't change what we've done!.!.!. once a killer always a killer you can never go back!.!.!. that label or judgment will stick for forever!.!.!.

as for prejudgments… they are just that pre judgments… like a hypothesis they seldom hit the nail on the head…Www@QuestionHome@Com

Perfection and the speed of light take the same bus!. The amount of energy needed to obtain perfection is "unattainable"!. To judge, in my experience requires a level of conceit that must be removed to help eliminate prejudice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

ok!. please explain why the muslim terrorists judge americans and deem it right to take many innocent lives!? i will mark your question interesting and wait for your response!.

to answer your question, prejudice can be a conscious or subconscious act!. this stems from the brain's automatic function to categorize things, to organize information, thus creating a pre-impression to something that falls under a certain category!. we can call this a defense mechanism!. forgive me but it sounds like you are using the word prejudice and judging interchangebly so I dont know if I'm answering your question right!.

Edited: Ok now that i read your response, i did answer your question but when i see these words: stereotype, prejudice, stigma, i get all too technical!. and sure i can accept all those thumbs down, people will not agree with me on everything and that is a fact of life!. Just to be clear, I am not judging all the muslims, i just really want to know why they do that if it is against the morals of Islam!. Sure I will take time to read those links, but I have a microbiology exam so i need to study the microbes first, or you can be nice and give me the gist of what those websites will tell me so that i can at least get an idea !.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We dont have rights to judge before our standards are defined!. But if someone is doing harm to the others rights ( personal/ societal) its wrong!. Hatred, wars etc are all peace breakers, which can never be right!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is no other!. In our relationships we literally can't relate to another person!. We can only relate to us IN them!. You should judge as much as you want to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

We have a right to judge their conduct if it impacts us!. If people want to be *ss holes without impacting others let them go for it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
