It depends on the situation, but really it's just means to be macho and less of a baby!. It's usually said to pump you up if you are doubting a situation or activity you don't want to do!. But the way I see it, sticking up for something you don't want to do is being a man!. You're sticking to your guns and not letting anyone push you around!.

If it applies to a chick or talking to chick, then that's something you'll learn on your own and will come naturally!. No amount of pep talk will change your feelings about talking to a girl and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think mostly it means to stop looking for emotional contact and support from a parent figure and start planting one's own crops - it's a mental thing, emotional - just whether you expect to get fed or feed yourself!. But that's just one element!. Too, a man doesn't run from pain or fear automatically, as a child would, a man might evaluate the circumstances and decide to stay and confront some things!. It's a process you work at!. One other thing - a man takes responsibility for his actions - which means firstly, not denying them!. One particular form of that is to acknowledge that our actions affect how other people feel!. also, a man starts seeing his role in the bigger picture, it's no longer all about him - it's about everyone, or at least all those being affected by what is going on!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
