Question: What does this guitar symbol mean!?
(This symbol is on a guitar tab next to a three note chord!.) It looks like the squiggly line [arpeggio] in the picture below BUT it has an arrow on the bottom of it pointing down!. How do I play the chord!?

Your first two responses are close, but incorrect!. The squiggly line to the left of a chord formation means to play the chord in succession--as an arpeggio!. The arrow simply denotes which direction to play the chord--downward!.
A lateral squiggly line means vibrato, trill, or shake!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
This actually means vibrato!. Basically you just have to wiggle and move your fingers while holding down the chord!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
This calls for a down arpeggio!. To play it you strum the strings down with the pic or fingers, starting with the 6th string (the low "E")!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
it means to vibrato the chord; you all must be looking at something different than what I am, I don't see an arrow pointing downWww@QuestionHome@Com
