Opinion and advice questions are one thing, but why ask questions about history and such when a google or wiki search will give you the answer you want!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

OH MY GOODNESS!!!

I AGREE 100%

I get so annoyed when people ask for definitions!. Have you never heard of dictionary!.com!?

And then people asking the ages of celebrities and such!. It isn't too difficult to use a search engine!.!.!.

It's as if people have never heard of google or something!. Either that or they are just too lazy, that they have to have other people search for their answers!.

How lazy can you be!? It takes not even a second!.

Don't worry, pal, you're not the only one who feels that way!.!.!.

Yahoo Answers should be used for questions on opinion and advice only!. I wish I could report the people who ask really easy search-able questions!.

And you know what else burns me up!? Those people who ask questions which have already been asked!. Like, hello, how about you search Yahoo Answers to see if someone else already asked the same exact question!?

Thank you for understanding my pain!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

1!. Google gives you the most popular hits!. That's like voting on the truth!. And one point, the majority of Americans felt there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq--just because the believed that to be true didn't make it so!. Wikipedia is even worse!. It's not a bad starting point!. But there are many historical takes on particular events!. Some Wiki entries are feeble!. Or some issues lack consensus!.

2!. Some of these history questions don't lend themselves to a Wiki answer!. I've seen people post questions like "what would a vietnam veteran's take be on how the press affected the result of the war!?" or "conventional wisdom says X, is there another take on this!?"

But yeah, I do agree that there are too many people simply seeking easy answers to homework!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's much funner for us history freaks to answer and it gives us points, but frankly, i like seeing how disillusioned people are with their answers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Is easier just to do this buddy and it alot more funner excuse my spellingWww@QuestionHome@Com
