I'll bring Eisenhower!. Why!? Because as a Republican President, he was responsible for the desegregation of our military and schools!. He charged Congress with pushing forth Civil Rights Legislation (the Dem!.s fought it tooth and nail (untill Sen!.s JFK and LBJ rewrote it, rendering it useless))!. Ike was not a professional politician and disliked very much (me voiding the word "hate") his VP Dick Nixon!.
