montezuma sent a envoy to meet the arival of cortez on his landing on the shores mexico,as it was predicted by their calender,although they thought to be expecting the return of a god,they did think cortez and his men were gods because the aztecs had never saw horses,and their predictions fortold of a god of white skin with a beard,all of which cortez had!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
