Www@QuestionHome@Com If by AUS you mean Austria, at the time WWII started, it was part of Germany as a result of Hitler's occupation, so Austria as a country took part in the war because Germany did!. Austrians who weren't so excited about the occupation probably took part on the other side of the war because they wanted to oust a genocidal maniac!. If by AUS you mean Australia, when Britain declared war on Germany, Australia provided troops because they were allied with Britain!. Later, when Japan entered the war, Australia fought because they were being directly threatened with invasion by Japan!.Www@QuestionHome@Com BTW, AUS also meant "Army of the United States" an appellation that was used to distinguish part-time "Reserve" officers from the full-time professional officers who used "USA" (United States Army)!.
