Question: How could I find out if someone is either alive/deceased in the state of Florida!?
I'm trying to find out if my Grandmother (Mother's mom) is still alive!. She would be living in Florida!. I looked her up on Zabasearch!.com and found her on people search, but it doesn't state if this is current or not!. I can't locate an address or phone number either!. Up until 2000 she lived in Orlando, she then moved either to 1 of these towns!. Oviedo, Sanford or Seminole!. Her name is Eleanor C (Crowley) Drew!. She would either be 83 or 85!. I don't know what her birthday is!. She was married to Frank Drew (now deceased, as is my mom Gini too)
If anyone could help me if would be great!. She doesn't know that she has 2 Great-granddaughters!. I live in Mass by the way!. I would also like to do this for no charge, it seems like alot of these websites get you to a certain point and them BAM, they want to charge you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Check the Social Security Death Index!. If she's not on there it doesn't guarantee she's still alive, but it's a good free starting point!.

There are 16 entries for Eleanor Drew!. One is an Eleanor Drew born 1924 in California died 2006 that lived in Oviedo and Orlando!. This may or may not be your relative!.

also, don't assume she's in her last known whereabouts!. People do move, even extremely late in life!.

Edit for follow up question: I'm not too strong on the living and recently deceased but obits is the first place I'd look!. Then I'd start with your mother's birth and death certificates to see if you can locate any further clues and contact the vital stats agency for Oviedo and Orlando to see if you can get grandma's death certificate!. There will be a fee, but it's nominal and goes directly to the agency, not a website company!. From there you might be able to garner clues to locate her birth records!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
