If you are in the UK!. and you know which year was your house built, you could go to your local library and ask for the Kelly directories from that year!. It'll show who lived there as the head of the family, usually the owner, unless the house had been rented at some point!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go to your local county records building, they should have a lot of information on current and past land owners!. You can also find out which reality agencies handled the buying and selling of the house each time it was on the market and hit them up for the information!. But yeah, best place to start would be your local County Records Hall, this is all public information!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You haven't purchased the deeds, only a copy of the last entry on the register!. The actual deeds will list every owner, but I think you would only find that out when you purchased the property!. You could view the electoral role and previous years via your local archives department!. This would tell you who was resident in the past which would be a pretty good guide to ownership!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

go on Rightmove and theres a link on there shows up everything - when it was bought and sold, for how much etc!.!. there arent any names on there of previous owners but you can see when it was purchased and for how much!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
