Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Kowalski is good one!. It literally means "smith" (as in blacksmith") and it's hard to mispronounce!. Names from the Posnan region have a lot of German influence, so they're not as hard as names from East Prussia where Russian was a heavy influence!. Some others you might consider: Jablonski Gorzenski Wlock Szepanski Tomaszewski Kryiger Czuba (pronounced CHEW ba) Gwizdala Luczak Jasinski Krzyzak (KREE zak or SHIZ yak, depending how Americanized they are) Andrejieski If you want one with all the extraneous consonants designed to confuse the world, Krzyzaniak (SHi ZHAN yiak) is a great choice, as are Przybylski (SHi Bill ski), Wieszechinski (VEE es ta zhin ski) and Ignaszewski!.
