Question: Im so scared!.!.!. but i know then my dance future will be ruined!.!.!.!?
ok i think after i type this out i will feel better!. will i do tap!. this is my second year!. everyone else in my class has been doing it for 3-4 years!. they all go so fast and get everything right! while i am trying but i get it all wong and my teacher yells and yells because i am not getting the move!
in the beginning of the year when the class started i loved it! i was doing great never getting yelled at and actually one of the best in my class! but then a another girl joined my class, she was more advanced then anyone in my class because she was in a higher level but had to take the class i am in because she had to do something at the time of her advanced class!.
when that happened the class got much harder! probably as hard as the class higher then mine!. the teacher is now making the class at her pace!. everyone was not at her level!. then a girl caught up to her level and now their is a girl who is almost at her level!. so the teacher is continuing making it hard!
because it is soooo hard 3 girls have already quit and their is another girl who i think might of quit but im not sure!. i think i will be the next one to go because i cant keep up at all!
2 weeks ago a new girl joined our class!. she was the worse so she is now the under dog!. i was the under dog but not anymore!. but last week she did much better and i didn't! i think i might have my spot back as the under dog which i dont want!!!!!! i am so scared and i dread my class! my class is in a few hours and i am so nervous!
i am shaking right now at the thought of having to go! i dont know what to do! i dont want to quit because i am the most advanced in tap ( i am talking about my tap class here) if i quit i know i will regret it because when i see the dance my class will do for the recital i wish i would of been there!. the recital is in june which is not coming soon!. we will start our dance for the recital soon though!.
i am scared and hopeless because i can not stand the teacher yelling at me and the other girls smirking because i keep getting yelled at !
what should i do!? should i quit!? or stay!? how can i get myslef through this class when i cant do it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stay in the class if you love it and move at your own pace!. The teacher should have half a brain to know that screaming at you isn't going to solve anything!. Don't waste your life worrying about this!. If tap makes you happy then forget the rest of the world around you!. Try your best and if that's not good enough let them scream at you and just keep a calm and relaxed look on your face!. Talk to your teacher after class, I would NOT ALLOW anyone to treat me like that!. My dance teacher right now isn't the nicest but I'm pretty good in the class so she (in her own way) sort of compliments me!. You do not deserve to get yelled at like you're a dog!Www@QuestionHome@Com
stay dont quit!!! when i was 8 i got moved up in an advanced class with 13 year olds!. my mom asked if i could have 1-2 private lessons a week t catch up and do betterWww@QuestionHome@Com

You can't be anyone else's dancer!. You have to be yourself!.
Go to class!. If you get a chance to talk to the teacher beforehand, ask her for tips on remembering the combinations!. Pay intense attention when the other girls go, and don't hold on to your mistakes!.!.!. that will just mess you up for the later combinations!.
Class is taught for you!. It's a gift that you have this opportunity, and if you look at it that way, you'll triumph!. :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
Hun If Your Teacher Shouts At You After Class Ask To Talk To Her Tell Her Your Nervouse and your feelings she wont hate you or put you down or treat you less shell treat you more for telling her and it comes to a stage where she is just doing it tell her to **** off and join another classWww@QuestionHome@Com
have you not figured out that dance is a lot of discipline!? and if you really love tap, you wouldn't be on here asking to quit!. I've been dancing for 11 years, I've always loved tap, but i'm no where near the best in my class!. it is very hard, but because i love it i keep going!. and you know if you really love it or not, so if you love it stay!. if you don't, quit!. simple enough!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
