Question: Is it bad to start ballroom dancing when your 14!?

I love ballroom dancing, i really want to take a class and become a professional but dont you have to start when your younger

naw ballroom isn't like ballet!. you don't have to start when you're a toddler if you wanna go pro!. i believe most people don't even start ballroom lessons til they're at least 10 so you're really not even close to being too old!. i'm not positive but i'm pretty sure some of the dancers on dancing with the stars didn't even start til their late teens so you've got nothing to worry about!. i think you should definitely take the classes and who knows, maybe ten years from now we'll see you on dancing with the stars :)

Nope you are at a good age to start!. You could be a professional in just a few short years if you catch on well and practice often!. Imagine yourself in 10 years as a 24 year old - you could definitely be up to par with other professionals and still have youth on your side!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its never to late to start dancing!.Im 14 and I just started to ballroom dance i think 3 months ago!.I go to Friday night dance things at the Ballroom and a bunch of older people who never danced before takes the lessons and their actually really good!.Go out there and take some classes,its not to late!!!!!!

It's dancing, not Gymnastics !! Of course you are not too late!. In fact, now that you realize how much you like it, you may get better quicker!. AND does it matter how good you are if you like it!? Look how good the Stars get on "Dancing with the Stars"!. Many of them are just starting!. Like Jerry Rice!. He got good !!!

If you really want to do it its going to have more to do with what your parents are willing to pay for and the time you are willing to spend!. (and the qualities of your teacher) This is not ballet!. you dont have to learn how to stand on your toes!. Ballroom is the opposite of ballet its almost better if you are tall woman! 14 isnt too late!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Heck no! If you love it, you probably have a knack for it!. Anything is possible if you're willing to work hard and stay dedicated, and 14 is still pretty young!. Take the class!Www@QuestionHome@Com
