The answer would be no.
Although they performed wonders keeping the Germans at bay. The Russians would not have been able to hold out forever and had it not been for the Allied Forces applying pressure on other fronts and the Germans being spread thin by the end of the war, they likely would not have been able to hold out much longer. Something like 20 million Russians died in WWII. It was a terrible war for them as well as for everyone else.
