Would people give up an opinion or a point of view in exchange for being happy?

like would YOU give up being RIGHT about some aspect of how the upcoming hollidays should go or shouldn t go for the greater good and happiness of all around you? Or would you rather be "right" and toast the whole goddamn affair?
