What makes the Twilight book better than the movie?

Question: What makes the Twilight book better than the movie!?

I've seen the movie and I LOVE IT but everyone is saying that the book is SO MUCH better!. Can anyone tell me more about why this is!? 10 points for best answer!. Thanks :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

The book is better mostly because it is the original!. As with all books so much more can be put into words than it can be put on the screen!. With the movie there was much left out because it was in Bella's thoughts!. also the movie had its faults such as Emmett eating food in the one cafeteria scene!. Or how they never really talked about any humans being killed in the first book by the "bad" vampires!. That doesn't happen until later on in the series!.

The main fault of the movie was just its not the book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This actually apply to all books made into movies, in my opinion!. Well, In a book there is So much more detail that they provide and Stephenie meyer(and all other authors) wrote about every physical detail, Exactly how each character was feeling, what their perspective was and so much more!.Twilight was 544 pages,I think, and you there isn't anyway you can get 544 pages into a 2 hour movie!.!.!.You know what I mean!? I still loved the movie though, I think that they did a good job of portraying the story!. But would definitely have to agree that book was better because of that very reason!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

When you read the book, you can use your imagination to interpret the author's words!. (The Edward Cullen in my head is WAY hotter than the guy they found to play him in the movie!) Another good thing about reading the books is that the interpretation of the author's words on the page is your own and comes from your own experiences, not what someone else visualizes!.

Just for the record, I refuse to see the Twilight movie because it will ruin my personal picture of what Edward looks like!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Er!.!.!. I'm kind of gonna switch around the question to it's opposite and here's my theory;

Rob Pattinson just attracts girls, the book made it's debut in 2005, and when the movie came out, the 2005 book became a "Hot best seller!"!. What the hell is this!? "hot"!? I bet Twilight only made this much fame because of that dreamy face Edward!. I read the book, made me die of boredom and made me get up and start cleaning up my room!. Oh yeah, I'm a boy but I don't judge books by the movies even if I was a girl, I read them first THEN look at the movies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wait!.!.!. so you haven't read the book!? If you did you would understand!.!.!. but I'll do my best to explain!.
When someone reads Twilight!.!.!. they get high expectations!. Edward becomes every part of their dream guy, someone no human actor could portray!. When they see the movie and he's not exactly THEIR Edward, it gets disappointing!. Not all people feel that way, in fact Rob Pattinson is plastered all over Teenage girl's walls everywhere!.

ANother reason is that due to time and budget, things were cut!. ANd due to critics and ratings, things were put in there that weren't at all in the book!.

But it all comes down to people's expectations of things-- whether it be their Edward or the way they pictured each scene, or how things were not in right order (such as how Bella met Jacob!.!.!.) All I can say is the producers and director did their best to meet up to some of those expectations, but not everyone's going to be happy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Books are generally always better!.!.!.rarely do I find it opposite!. It is a better book than movie, because it explains all the legends and myths!.!.!.all that stuff a lot clearer than the movie!. I also found that I preferred the characters while reading the books, over how they were presented in the movie!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

#2!.!.!.!. so many things are left out from the movie!. did you know she sits with him at lunch because he motions her over at another table so they're alone!?
