i like books under these genres: historical fiction romance, but have some hate and adventure in it!. just like twilight, not to mushy!. list books under those genres (preferably books that are like twilight (hence the question) ) thanksWww@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: young adult historical romance fiction- most books written by Eva Ibbotson, including: -A Countess Below Stairs -A Song for Summer - (and especially) The Morning Gift Old Magic by Marianne Curley- not really historical!. But it's a romance that has time travel!. I really love it!. The Vampire Diaries Series by LJ Smith has almost the same plot as Twilight The Vampire Kisses series!. Havent read it but my friend loves it so much!. Gemma Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray!. Historical!. There's romance but not as much as Twilight!. But personally, I like this far better than Twilight!. Sweep series by Cate Tiernan!. There's plenty of romance, and it's about witches!. Ophelia by Lisa Klein!. Based on Shakespeare's play, Hamlet!. Lots of romance here, and very beautiful language!. If you're older, or don't mind sex scenes, you might want to try: -the Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris!. It's about vampires!. The HBO series True Blood is base on this novel!. -The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon!. Has time travel so its setting is mostly during the past!. Nice romance in it!. -The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffeneggar!. I've been told by many people that it's very good, but I've yet to try it!. It'a a romance too!.
