My Sister's Keeper is one of my favorites!! I'm 14 and in my opinion some other good "serious" books are:

-The Face on the Milk Carton, Caroline B!. Cooney: A really good, not really thriller, but that kind of thing!.

-Flowers for Algernon, Daniel Keyes: A classic, really good, story!.

-Walk Two Moons, Sharon Creech: I read that in like 6th grade, but still enjoy reading it every so often!. It was my favorite for a long time!.

-Little Woman, Louisa May Alcott: Although it's a really tiring start, it's a very good book!.

-A Mango Shaped Space, Wendy Mass: A easy read, but a good one still!.

-To Kill A Mocking Bird, Harper Lee: You've probably already read it!.!. But it's a excellent read!.

Hope this helps! Happy reading!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Thirteen Reasons Why (not fantasy or sci-fi)

Poison (fantasy)

The taking of mariasburg (kind of strange, but not a terrible book)

Wicked (I am a christian, and I read this book!. The authors of this book are delving into real beliefs that there is such thing as witches and warlocks, but i don't believe that!. So, that is why I read it!. It is really good, and it's a series!.)

Maximum Ride (sci-fi, but really good)

I always recommend poems and short stories by Edgar Allen Poe!. He is just a very cool and creepy writer, but I don't read much of him!.

That's all I can think of!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
