YES!.!.!. PS Elements 7 is an EXCELLANT program!. Elements has advanced far beyond what it was in earlier versions!. It will NOT leave you wishing for more!. About the only justification for the full version of Photoshop is for graphic design type of work!. Many people just don't want to admit that Elements is really all they need and are capable of using!.

Definitely get a book by Scott Kelby, "The Photoshop Elements 7 Book for Digital Photographers"!. It will walk you step by step through many procedures and techniques and really give you an easy start at learning the program!.

Photoshop Elements is more than enough for 95% of people!. You can do most things with it!. Most people will never learn enough to use it to its potential!. It is also a great bargain at $90 or so!.

The full version of Photoshop lets you have even more control over some of the features that are in Elements!. It also has better workflow capabilities!. Unless your a pro you really don't need most of these!.

There is very little that you can't do with Elements!. Some things may be a little easier in the full version but you have to ask yourself is it really worth it!. If you were a pro I would recommend the full version but for most everyone else Elements is more than enough!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Photoshop Elements is a good choice!. I always recommend Adobe products in general for photo manipulation and graphics!.

Photoshop does have features for the more hard core user, not doubt, but PSE may be all you need!. PSE version 7 has some nice new features!.

That being said, you should also check out Adobe Lightroom!. Since I've purchased LR, I only use PS about 5% of the time now!. LR handles almost all the things that I used to do in PS!. Lightroom is what many Pros are using now as it really speeds up your workflow a lot! I can get through batches of photos so much faster now!. I only use PS for special effects or specific manipulations!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The full version of PS is a tough sell to beginners!. You're best bet is to check into whether your school or university has it!. Play around with it a little bit!. If you jump in blind it will be about as useful as any online photo editing site!. Having said that, I'm not sure what elements has to offer!. It does cater to the beginner a little more, and I know of several pros that use it to increase workflow!. We'll see what the experts have to say!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
