Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Acrylics work great cause they are water based and won't "melt" the styro ball!. Not to mention they are thick and don't absorb into the styro ball!. They coat well and you should be pleased with the outcome!.Www@QuestionHome@Com It should work!. I have done that before for a science project!. Just don't try to use spray paint, because it will dissolve the Styrofoam!.Www@QuestionHome@Com It should work fine!. Acrylic paint can be nice and thick (depending on how much water you mix in), and it's water-based so it won't soak into the Styrofoam or melt it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Because it it porous (has holes) it will soak into the styrofoam!. It might just take more paint that you would expect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Hey Theresa!! It will work!Www@QuestionHome@Com |
