The material used to make theatrical and movie noses is latex for temporary use and molded silicone rubber for larger. Normally a mold is made of the face part using moulage and from this mold a plaster positive of the face is made. Then soft clay is used to build up the desired shape and a mold of this is made. When the second mold is put against the face positive, the gap can be filled mold material and after it sets a prosthesis can be made which is glued to the face with spirit gum. I assume that artificial ears ears and noses are held in place with surgical adhesive or something more pleasant than spirit gum.

Wow, you can hardly tell. If you didn't say anything I would've never noticed.
