Question: Do Casting Directors Tell You If You Did Well At An Audition!?
Okay so I had an audition and at the end one of the casting people thanked me and said GREAT JOB!. Is that customary for them to give feedback, or do you think it was just a generic thing that I should not read anything in to!? haha!.!.thanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

Depends on who is auditioning you!. If they seem like someone very dedicated to their job and maybe a little snotty, they may not say anything even if they loved you!. But if this person said great job, then you probably did a great job lol

Good luck and hopefully congratulations!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Casting directors do not cast talent!. They screen them for a client!. If a casting director said "Great Job" don't think you will be getting a call back!. Most casting directors do not give you feed back unless it is a call back, which is usually coordinated with your agent or manager!. The standard is no feedback unless you are moving to the next step!. Good Luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If this is for a professional performance, That is rare!. It is great instant feedback!. If it is amateur I would say it is more like saying thank you for coming!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That might be a good sign, but honestly dont get your hopes too high because they might say that to anyone!.

But I really hope you did well, Good Luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
