Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: From what I understand, TV/Movie auditions like the colored shots but Theater perfer the Black and White!. But that's just something I heard with no real basis!. Thinking it over, the two different shots are probably best, depending on what you're going for!. With movies/TV, color would be better as that's what the vast majority of Movies/TV are - Color!. With Theater - most people are seated pretty far away!. They can't see your eye color, they can't see your face that well, and you're going to be wearing a lot of make up (And I mean a lot!. It's the only way almost everyone can make out your expression) and possibly a wig or hat (or both) so you don't really need the colored shot!.Www@QuestionHome@Com http://www!.headshots101!.com/what-is-a-he!.!.!. "Currently the trend has been horizontal shots of the performer, making the image a little more "film like!." " Doesn't say what's currently in, but I'd go with color!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Black&White headshots have always been the tradition!. If you have an appointment with an Agency, ask the person that answers the telphone, which is preferable!.Www@QuestionHome@Com it varies per agent!. if you already have an up to date headshot in black&white or color, most would not care until they start representing youWww@QuestionHome@Com |
