Question: Poem about human contentment!. !?
This a re-post/rewrite of another poem that I already put on here!.
If you've read it before, don't respond unless you REALLY want to!.!.!.

when we are trapped
confined in the walls
made by our own
limitations
we crouch
in our corners of ourselves
somehow the same corner
for us all
darkness
we are contained
by our need to see
our need to know
what lies in other corners
before we reach out to feel them
when we are trapped
no chance of getting lost
of never knowing
not caring
so we stay
all of us as one
in our skin
in different skins
same eyes
reflect the same craving
the need
to stop seeing
stop knowing
feel without caution
unexplored corners of ourselves
embrace the unexpected course
but we don't
we remain content
to live in a box
cramped
never knowing
what it is like to not be

How is it!?

Worthy of not burning in my weekly bonfire!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love that last message, worthy of not burning in my weekly bonfire, lol good play on words!. Anyway, I feel that your poem is really good! I would also like to add that my favorite part of your poem was:

"when we are trapped
confined in the walls
made by our own
limitations"

I am guessing that what you tried to signify with this stanza was people tend limit themselves to only the norm standards, they are trapped by substandard limitations and do not try to explore and find theri true potential!. Their walls which confine them to substandard goals, or hinder them from achieving true potential are by cause of limiting themselves to that standard!.

I liked your poem, at the end I had to read it a couple of times to get the true feeling of the poem!. Good work!! Keep postin'!Www@QuestionHome@Com
