When I grow up I want to be a crayon,
May I be a different colour on every day,
And be able to say,
I have the power to bring joy,
To the many children of the world,
Can I colour in their day!?,
Can I take away their black and white shades!?
May I be a colour of the rainbow,
And the many other colours we can find in the world,
To continue my journey without being looked down upon,
Like a little girl,
To bring pictures to life,
On special occasions,
To see to see adults faces light up with these creations,
For it is impossible for them to realize such young children have these imaginations,
Pink, purple, blue and brown,
I wish to turn all those frowns,
Of those unhappy children upside down,
To bring the smile on someone's face,
Without looking like a disgrace,
Do you have the faith!?,
To let me be a crayon someday!?,
Someday I want to turn the colours of the world into the best,
I give you my word for you will receive nothing more, nothing less!.
