heart drops eyes close gravity unbound spinning swooning not breathing nor forgeting lost conscious no control out of mind out of body floating flying bliss arrives blessed escape Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Swooning, or fainting, can be very close to death because your body is no longer in your control!. As you go down, your mind could interpret a sense of death, hence the OBE (out of body), which you might actually experience!. Drifting into sleep such as this could easily be akin to death!. Blessed escape seems to relate to death as one senses bliss arrive; but one could also be floating -- perhaps over the freeway or ocean on a journey of it's own; the body is not dead, the soul is simply free to fly!. Great poem!. Many interpretations; a poem that draws me back to it again and again!. T!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Some parts of the poem is about love!. for example eyes closing this could be a kiss The first part of the poem about relaxing also floating!. however the not breathing can be about death!. For lines like out of mind, no control it may be about going insane!. Spinning can refer to being dizzy Www@QuestionHome@Com To me it sounds as though someone under a lot of stress (either emotional or even physical) has passed out/fainted!. This is a very close description to the symptoms one experiences when that happens!. I won't go into the technical aspects of syncope but I will posit that it may simply be my background which has led me to this conclusion!. And sometimes Ma!.!.!. fainting is bliss!. sigh I could feel it as I read through!.!.!. now I need to put my head between my knees for a bit!.!. double sigh ;)Www@QuestionHome@Com It can only be the soul leaving the body!.!.!. it cannot be anything else!.
