Question: Critique My Poem: Rich and Poor!?
Rich and Poor
There are some
People rich
There are some
People poor
Some people have more
Some people have less
Some people
Have happiness
Unhappy and sad
Life is a mix
A salad bar
Full of tomatoes
Onion rings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

your poem simply makes an observation, which is not a bad start, but i looked for the conflict and found none!.
it would be great if your poem could go on to answer to the "so what" question after it is applied to the observation!.

in the song "favorite things"
"raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens"
and all the other things mentioned were but a set-up for what the real reason of the poem was: to address the writer's fears - "when the dog bites, when the bee stings"!.!.!.!."i simply remember my favorite things, and then i don't feel so bad!."

you're on your way to a good poem if you could continue!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
