Because some people think logic is relative!. Depending on what "logic" you use!. They think of it as reasons for belief and not as the basis for correct deductions and inferences!. They equivocate meanings!.

Logic is a discipline!. I'm not disagreeing with you on that!.

But logic and "reason" are necessarily based on "falseness!." Going back to the fundamental origins, all practical reasoning requires a priori arguments!. How does a person decide what should be taken for granted and what shouldn't be!? A priori means unknowable!. So then what is taken for granted, the backbone of practical reasoning, becomes the ranking of the instincts and drives within a person!.

I'm not telling people to become completely irrational, as some people might interpret this as being!. I believe in logic-- and also its limitations!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

logic is the SLOWEST, most LIMITED WAY of examining an issue!. Logic and rationality are two entirely different things!. Logic is ONES AND ZEROES!. Logic cannot understand the depth of human emotions, human endeavors, human sorrows and joys!.

Saying it's anything else doesn't make it so!. Logic is good for ONE THING ONLY!. Counting out the correct number of spoons for the amount of guests you are having over!.
