Question: Good broadway song for audition to arts school!?
So i'm auditioning for arts school in a few weeks! Exciting :) but my voice coach wanted me to have an uptempo song to bring to her today!. Yikes! I'm 15 and have a wide range high and low!.

Any ideas!? Thanks! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The Wedding Singer:
- Someday
- Right in Front of Your Eyes

Hairspray:
- Big Blond & Beautiful
- Good Morning Baltimore

Wicked:
- Defying Gravity
- Popular
- What is this Feeling
- The Wizard and I

Mamma Mia:
- Honey Honey
- Lay All your Love on Me

Spring Awakening:
- Mama who bore me
- Mama who bore me - reprise

Dreamgirls:
- Move
- Love you I do

Grease:
- Your the One that I Want
- We Go Together

These are all pretty good up-tempo songs for a good range!. Dreamgirls, The Wedding Singer and Mamma Mia are more for a lower range!. Spring Awakening and Wicked are more for a higher range!. The other ones are pretty much a mix of both!. And original Broadway is always better than movie soundtrack! Good LuckWww@QuestionHome@Com

Anything from Phantom of the Opera, "The Wizard and I" from Wicked, and "Defying Gravity" by Idina Menzel (her solo, not the duet)
Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
