Question: Changing my high E String on the guitar!?
My sister broke my high e string on my acoustic-electric guitar (it is a six string guitar)!. I don't have one right now, but i have a package of electric strings (minus the e string) would i be able to use the B string in that package (Ernie Ball Custom Gauge 13)!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Even should a B string fit through the saddle assembly you would risk placing too much tension because of the gauge of the B string!.

Wait until you get the first E string to install!. There's no sense in risking further damage!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

sorry but it doesn't work like that, assuming you don't know the gauge of the strings that are currently on the guitar, I'd start all over with a fresh set, then buy a few extra E's in the gauge you bought, if you do know then go to the shop and stock up on them E'sWww@QuestionHome@Com

No!. Every hole on the bridge is made for that specfic string so an E string will only fit where the E string is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
