Well for you clarinet or oboe would be very easy to learn!. I switched from clarinet to sax and could play alto pretty darn well in a matter of two minutes - it's that easy!. Might be a bit harder the other way because clarinet doesn't sound up an exact octave when you hit the octave key like on sax!.!.!.but it's still relatively simple!.

Oboe would be about the same, except it's a double reed which could take some getting used to!. I personally don't play oboe but the people I know who do play oboe switched over from either sax or clarinet!. You could play bassoon, too, now that I think of it - many, many bassoon players originally played saxophone!. And that's an awesome instrument too :p

Flute has an entirely different embouchure!.!.!.but from what I know the fingerings are, again, very easy to pick up because they are so similar!.

These instruments would be much more logical to pick up than say, violin, guitar, or a brass instrument, just because they are very closely related so it would take you maybe a day or two to play them pretty well!. On a different instrument, you'd have to start at zero again and work up, and that could take a while!.

Best of luck!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wow saxophone in my opinion is the best wind for expressing yourself but not the best instrument, so what is:

ELECTRIC GUITAR!!.!.!.Yea Baby!.!.!.

You already know music so strap on a guitar sling it real low and hit the chops!.!.!.you won't be sorry!.!.!.

However I think the easiest axe to "switch it up a bit" for you would be a flute!.!.!.an electric flute!.!.!.keep on jammin'Www@QuestionHome@Com

play the flute the only difference is the fact its horizontal and there's no reed!. the fingerings are all the same though!. there was a flute player in my high school marching band that played the flute and easily switched over to the saxWww@QuestionHome@Com

Try a violin!. They're pretty easy to play and don't take forever to learn unlike the piano!. also they can be beautiful despite what people can think of them!.

piano is my favorite!. I don't play but if could meet a woman that plays piano and hook her I be in heaven!.

you could start with keyboard if you don't have room and ability to play aloud!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How about the flute!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
