Question: Fake Gibson vs Samick Avion 3!?
What is your opinion on the Samick Avion 3 Guitar ($329)!? I am thinking about getting it!. It is between that, or a chinese made Gibson ($300-$1200)!.
Now, before you blow your tops and tell me how bad chinese gibsons are, hear me out!. My dad is going to China to do some research and he has a very good friend there that is a professional electric guitarist!. My dad wants him to buy me a guitar!. I am aware that China has a reputation of poor quality guitars, but I trust that this guy knows a good guitar from a bad guitar!.
So what do you think!? Chinese Gibson with questionable authenticity or quality OR a Samick Greg Bennett Avion 3 guitar!?

Gibson!.!.!. China!.!.!.!. Last time I checked I thought Gibson was in TN or KY!. If it is an Epihone guitar yeah they are made in China!. But really depending on what Epiphone guitar you get you will be pleased!.
Now people always hark on me about brands of guitars, and where they are made!. Most of my guitars are made in Japan!. One of them is hand Crafted in China!. I had to tweak the chinese made guitar just slightly with electronics and set up but it sounds now no different from my other guitars from Japan!.
Now, I know I am going to get a whol $hit load of thumb down for saying this but this is true ask any music professional!.
The guitar never sucks it is always the player!. Dumb *** kids always think exspensive guitar means I will play better!. That could never be more false!. I would jump into a volcano if I couldn't find a musician who couldn't fix a cheap-o walmart guitar to sound like their pro quality set up!.
As for the Samick Guitar!. Gibson actually owns the Samick name!. Funny!. It is to me hahaha!. But never the less Samick is also made in China!. So really saying chinese guitars suck really should not be said for the matter of a chinese made gibson and a samick!.
For personal choice though I would more less stick with Samick because they have a really sweet hardtail that looks like a dean hardtail quilt top!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
