Talk to your director!. This does happen all the time and you can't help being sick!. If you do decide to sing, rest your voice the entire day, get lots of rest, don't drink milk because it causes more mucus in the throat, drink hot things like tea, and sing conservatively in ensemble parts so you have it for the solo!. Don't stress - talk to the director!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This has happened to me before!
I think you should explain the situation!. If you sing, you might permanently damage your voice!. Try drinking honey and lemon tea and hot cordials!. Honey on its own is good!.

Sometimes, this is just nerves, but from what it seems you have a full blown cold/cough!.
Do you really want to damage your voice and maybe embarrass yourself!?

Whatever you choose - good luck! You will always have another chance!Www@QuestionHome@Com
