Question: What string should I buy for my Guitar!?!!?!!?
I have an Epiphone SG and the high e string just broke!. I would prefer only having to buy just the one string rather than a whole new set of six!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you keep popping your high E string then you may want to use a !.10 gauge high E!.!.!. Most people use !.09 gauge high E strings!.!.!.!. I'd recommend buying the whole pack!.!.!.!. just restring all of them!.!.!.!. If it's been a while since they have been replaced then definitely replace them all!.!.!.!. You'll notice a HUGE difference!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most all of the retail music stores I've encountered in my 52 years of playing guitar offer single string replacement!. They usually cost around $1!.00 each!.

But as others have advised, if your strings are showing age and difficult to stay in tune, then get a complete set!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My advice is to buy a set!. If you broke one, the rest are probably near the end of their life anyway!. And if they are fresh, well then you can just replace the broken one from the set and keep the rest as spares in case you need them later!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yeah buy a set !.!.!. but go for D'addario strings !. bronze for acoustic and silver for electric!.!. they are very fine quality strings !. and u can get a loose e string !.!. but do select the proper gauge for your strings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think you have to buy them in a pack, and unless you've restrung the thing in the past month, go ahead and replace them all!. they're not that expensive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
