As for what type of violin that was, its impossible to tell from looking at the video!. All violins look pretty much the same!. There are some slight differences in body dimensions, shape, and other fine details of construction that set one violin maker apart from another, that a violin expert would notice immediately if he or she were to examine the instrument closely!. But from a distance, its impossible to tell!.

And a LARGE part of what makes a violin sound amazing is the violinist's skill and touch on the instrument!. The violin, more than almost any other instrument, responds intimately to the player's touch and technique!. A great violinist can play an inexpensive $500 fiddle, and pull a beautiful tone out of it!. An inexperienced beginner can play a $500,000 violin and not sound any better than they would if they were playing a $500 instrument!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
