Question: Advice for an Upcoming Audition!?
I'm Auditioning for my Jr!.High's production of "Beauty and The Beast Jr!." this coming Tuesday!. I'm very excited and will be my second production to be in at my Junior High (everyone is cast)!. Last year, I made Horton in Suessical Jr!. and it was my first time acting EVER :]!.
Anyway, one of the songs, or excerpts of songs rather, is Lumiere's beginning part of "Be Our Guest"!. I know they want us to at least *attempt* a slight french accent, and was wondering if anyone had tips on how to sing "Be Our Guest" with a french accent!.

Thank you guys!

Google French accents/language and try to find a free one, or at least a sample, then practice the hell out of yourself; sing it over and over and over again (quietly) until it becomes second nature!.

You could even watch something like Finding Nemo, and listen to Jacques (the shrimp) again and again for his accent!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

ok, if you can do the russian rough sound during rr's that would be great, but just in case that doesn't work out, just have tons of energy! im a jr!. actress myself, (and best friends with my director cuz he taught my sister) he casts the crazy people because its quote: "easier to tame a wild animal then to make a tame animal wild!." That means you should just give him a bunch of energy then tone down later!. Good luck and let me know how it goes! Www@QuestionHome@Com
