Question: Is it possible to learn how to play the guitar well beginning at the age of 21!?
I just bought an acoustic guitar today, I've always had a love for music and instruments; I played the piano for a couple years when I was younger!. At the age of 21, can I pick up a guitar and learn how to play well!? Can hard work pay off!? or am I too late in the game!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah, it's possible at any age!. What's important is that you practice, and with the guitar, you can really see the results of your hard work!.

I'd say play, and learn, and constantly improve!. Age is no factor here have fun =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hard work always pays off and yes you can learn to play guitar and you're previous piano playing should help you out a lot!. Of course you're not to late in the game if you have enough spare time and a good motivation you'll do great, i thought that when i started (16) i was too late but have since discovered such a thing does not exist!. Of course you can! It just requires a lot of time - I think that's the real reason that people don't usually pick up skills like that when they're older!. But if you're serious about it and work hard, it's totally possible!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I started the drums when I was 21!. If you've got the drive, patience and if you practice you can do anything!.

I'm 24 now and a pro drummer in a band, and a custom drum builder!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you can still learn!. 21 ain't that old!. Its actually still young!
And music is for people of all ages!. It will take time!. But, worth it!.

Hard work always pays off!. God speed! Cheers!Www@QuestionHome@Com
