Question: How do I organize and give my orchestra teacher a bouquet at the concert!?
Today I won 1st chair, 1st violin!. I am also the section leader and President of my middle school orchestra!. My winter concert is in 2 weeks and the 1st chair, 1st vln usually gives the teacher a bouquet during the concert in front of everyone!. How should I go about in collecting the money from the orchestra!? The bouquet is about $40, and there are about 60 people in our 7/8 grade orchestra!. also, when should I give it to her!? What should I say!? I have to do all of this without letting my teacher find out, too!. Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wow-congrats on your achievement! Before forking over $40 from your own pocket for the bouquet, I'd hit every last member of your orchestra up for his/her share (less than $1 a piece!)!. If you'd like to have the bouquet delivered, you might ought to figure in a tip (and tax, too!)!. As to a speech, don't make a big one; keep it short!. Have your delivery person arrive before your group plays its last piece, stand and clap (the others will, too), and tell your director a big Thank You! She can't help but be thrilled!Www@QuestionHome@Com

why don't u order the bouquet at a store and ask the person who took your order to send a delivery person to personally deliver ur order to ur teacher at the time u want!. that way, ur teacher will never find out and u won't have to deal with the hassle or carrying it inside and trying to find a place to hid it!.
